An archaeologist looks for artifacts (objects made by people) that will reveal more about the past. Artifacts can be many different things. An arrowhead is an artifact, or beads made by Native Americans and so is an old coin.

An archioligist is a person who digs out old things that are mystiryas and give mystery solving fun.
Archioligists can dig anywhere including old garbich pilles and toilets
archioligists look at old thins and sights to see how people lived in the pased!
they seem to know something about what people did long time ago they do that by looking at the itam
that they found and think about what it could be used for.
the itames that the archioligists find go into speciel places like musiams or sometimes they go to reserch arias so that they could get a picture in their mind of what this itam was used for in the olden days. one little old thing can be veryvaluble thats why archiologists study these itams
